My new go to. Had a Groupon, so wasn't expecting much. However my family and I were blown away with how good their rolls were. Cannot recommend enough

We went for lunch, nice environment. Server was very knowledgeable and patient. Food was fresh 10/10

We came.specifally.because a Karen gave it a bad review! Everything from the service to the sushi to the hot sake.was spot on! Great vibe, great service, delish sushi!!! Glad you hit back against reviews that are from sad people lost in life!!! Rock on! Much love from a couple of Vermonters on vacation!!!!!

I think that this is the best sushi restaurant in Virginia Beach! The price is much more reasonable than other sushi restaurants. The chicken katsu is a favorite of mine as well. It’s got something for everyone, even those poor souls that don’t like sushi! I should know because I lived in Japan for several years!

The food was delicious. We had a few different sushi rolls including the VA crunchy roll. The wings were amazing. We arrived at opening time on a Sunday morning. Service was great, Jasmin was very attentive, and the service was very quick. Nice music was playing, and the restaurant was very clean. It is located right by the beach, we were able to go see the Poseidon statue and walk around after. We will definitely be back soon!

I went 3 times this past weekend. The sushi was delicious and affordable. Everyone including other customers were very friendly.

Honestly, I was not expecting much, just wanted a place to grab a quick lunch. But man was I wrong! I always get a sashimi platter if it’s the first time I’ve been to a sashimi place, just so I can easily judge the quality of the fish and the skill of the chef. And ya, I was not disappointed at all. For the price it was at, the sashimi platter was super fresh and good quality and a pretty decent amount, I was a bit surprised. Anyways, this was a great place, I would for sure come again!

We have been searching for a Japanese sushi bar that resembles L.A. in its freshness, ambience, and roll choices. We were impressed and very glad to have found Soya. This restaurant has more than sushi for those who shy away from uncooked fish. So, for those in your group that desire an expanded menu, they certainly have lots of choices beyond sushi here. We were also delighted that Soya has reasonable hours as we stopped for a late lunch. Unlike the sushi bar down the street,, we were not turned away because it was not yet 5 p.m. Alexis was our server and was just wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant, looking forward to our next visit!
